I was the first featured poet for Faithwriters Magazine. This poem is really an expression of what I am about. I love to dance before the Lord. I am 52 years old and can probably outdance you as long as there is worship in the house!

DANCING

I am dancing with my Lord
The grass beneath my feet is green enough
The sun in the sky is shining brightly
Rain can only bring a rainbow
Wind can only blow me closer
To His love
Because I have heard
The spirit whisper
In the depth of my heart
That there is One who loves me
Because I have heard Him call
Inviting me to hold His hand
I have heard Him call
Who invites me to dance
A dance of rejoicing
That the heavens can blaze with glory
That all enemies retreat
This dance of Love
Is worth more than rubies
The blood red of the sun
Shines on His nail pierced palms
As I bow down in the dance
And kiss his nail pierced feet.

I FOUND JESUS DOWN THE PUB

I didn't find Jesus on a souped up Sunday
I found Jesus when someone told me Monday
I didn't find Jesus in a church
I found Jesus down the Pub.

I found JESUS cos man coud feel
I found Jesus cos in his name he healed
I found Jesus cos the man didn't doubt
I found Jesus cos that man knew him inside out.

Gloves off, hands on the gospel is real
Don't preach it brother when its not what you feel
I want a miracle working God
I want to know there's a thing called love

Don't speak to me with a down faced grin
Its not use showing me if you haven't got that thing
don't speak to me if  it's just all lies
Prove me its true and not just hype

Gloves off, hands on it better be real
Don't lay hands on me if Jesus can't heal
Don't tell me I'll find heaven on earth
If you can't show me what the gospel's worth

didn't find Jesus on a soup up Sunday
I found Jesus when someone told me Monday
I didn't find Jesus in a church
I found Jesus down the Pub.

I found JESUS cos the man coud feel
I found Jesus cos in his name he healed
I found Jesus cos the man didn't doubt
I found Jesus cos that man knew him inside out.

It wasn't a preacher in a souped up suit
It was a guy in jeans and a pair of boots
It wasn't even a word from an altar
It was the sound his songs and the love in his laughter

God's all wrong till you prove Him right
Fists up, be brave, gospel fight
I'll pitch' hate and you pitch love
The devil wins if there 'aint no dove

Either I'm going to walk out free
Or it's stupid to speak of bondage and sin
Either its real or its really not
Looking at you is the proof that I've got

Gloves off, hands on it better be real
Don't lay hands on me if Jesus can't heal
Don't tell me 'bout heaven on earth
If you can't show me what the gospel's worth

I found JESUS cos man coud feel
I found Jesus cos in his name he healed
I found Jesus cos man didn't doubt
I found Jesus cos man knew him inside out.

Don't drag me in if you're still with out
If Jesus is real then why do you doubt?
Either its true or its terribly false
I'm looking at you to tell what I thought

I didn't find Jesus on a soup up Sunday
I found Jesus when someone told me Monday
I didn't find Jesus in a church
I found Jesus down the Pub.

I found JESUS cos man coud feel
I found Jesus cos in his name he healed
I found Jesus cos man didn't doubt
I found Jesus cos man knew him inside out.

Gloves off, hands on it better be real
Don't lay hands on me if Jesus can't heal
Don't tell me I'll find heaven on earth
If you can't show me what the gospel's worth

Written for GLOBAL DAY OF PRAYER 2006

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

LET US PRAY

Let us ALL Pray who gather here and anywhere,
From the oldest to the youngest, and most learned to the most simple,
From those who are spiritual, to those who falteringly utter a few shaky words,
God did not say, invent some great prayer embroidery, just IF HIS people,
His people, rich and poor, His people, black or white, His people in any colour, any part of any Nation,
Not demanding any kind of cleverness, but just the quiet humility of heart that knows our God as King,
The simple acknowledgment that Jesus is all in all, and the willingness to follow where the Holy Spirit leads,
Would bow their knees to pray.
Even, if not fully understanding, or lacking in comprehension, Even if just uttering the few stilted words that will come from a tongue that longs to bring forth more,
It is enough, for Greater in us is He who moves the mountains,
Greater in us who have bowed the knee than any human source or raging principality of hell,
Most powerful in us who agree to bow the knee together, Most powerful who join in unity of spirit,
Most able to bring down strongholds is the weakest saint who agrees to yield,
Let us this day, be yielded here, forgetting all our self interested thoughts,
Let us this day, extending the hand of peace to those we have hurt,
Let us this day, reach out a hand and join to all the Nations,
Who today will bow the knee, Our confidence restored because of Promises made long ago, Our healing comes, through the Nations,
Where just two or three, Not where even great prayer warriors, though we need and honour these,
Agree, and stand together, There He is who we most desire to see.
There He is who we most desire to move, There He is who always decreed that praying men and women should save Nations,
Able at last to move and allow the conquering of generations of iniquity, and turn back the advances of evil,
There He is, Here, Here among US, NOW. It can never be the same,
If we agree this day to keep Him here who is always true to His word.
The Lamb of God rising in power in the Nations, defeating the strongholds with a mighty army of warriors, drawn from the kitchen sink of Life,
Gathered from the farms and villages and towns and Cities of the World,
Willing to Stand for who we must Stand. Confident of Victory, and not fearing the advances of the enemy,
People who are a part of History, People of prayer filled identity,
Gathering. O ye Nations rise up and greet the KING who is coming in Glory.
Today is the day of Salvation and restoration, and power, If we can stand together and bow the knee.
Our time is here if we let it come, It has been left to us to choose whether we will bow the knee, and if we do choose,
We see God's Kingdom come.
